           Durham City

the poolA CLUB FOR ANYONE WHO FINDS PUBLIC SWIMMING SESSIONS UNSUITABLE

(muscular problems, back problems, limited sight, learning difficulties, wheelchair user, etc.)

We meet on Mondays, during school terms, in the centre of Durham City at 7.15p.m.

We had recently restarted, with special precautions for Covid-19, but have had to stop again due to lockdown.

The pool is about 4 feet deep everywhere (just over waist high on most adults),
with easy access , and a hoist

We have plenty of helpers in the water,
to give support,
teach you to swim
or just to give you confidence.

We also have a range of swimming aids
from arm bands to body floats.

Helpers teach you to swim, if you wish,
or play games with you if you prefer.
